Git repository

A repository is a special kind of folder that allows users to collaborate with others without the drawbacks of using other applications

The special features of a repository are that it can be remote and local and that the history of the files are saved

We can use GitHub to help our group collaborate more efficiently and be able to modify and share code easily. It will make transferring code less of a hassle
