Still Here

Hello, my name is Andoni Nolasco and you're watching Disney Channel. Nope you're on the website of a senior at Information Technology High School who is in the Web Design Academy at his school. This is probably the third time I explained this on blogger, but Web Design is on of the two CTE Academies my school offers. CTE stands for Career and Technical Education which basically mean we take classes and have information secessions in order to get a head start on preparing for college and careers. The Web Design academy is for students interested in computer science and want to pursue a career in the field.
That was the reason I decided to join Sophomore year: at the time, I wanted to be a video game designer and felt the academy would provide me the necessary preparation for studying that in college. Of course, as high school went on and I grew, I realized that I wanted to study Biomedical Engineering and no longer wanted to be a video game designer. Biomedical Engineering, to me, is a lot more interesting and fun, so now that is my career path and field of study. In this field of study I have the opportunity to create bio material and work to help many people's lives such as by creating more advanced prosthetic limbs.
Because this is my final year in high school, my goals are to first, and foremost, graduate high school and be accepted into my dream school: Columbia University.  Thinking long term, my goals are to have my own apartment, learn to live independently, graduate college with a bachelor's degree, and get a job in which I enjoy doing.
I am regular high school student so my hobbies include handball, soccer, billiards and spending time with my friends and family.
